FanExpo was pretty fun. Some definite organizational issues that I would have expected not to be seeing at a professionally run convention. The debate yesterday was pretty unpleasant. We managed to talk as long as we were supposed to, but I felt like our arguments were pretty weak. It would have been SO much easier to be arguing that the paper was novel, seeing as we've never seen anything like it and attempts to search the literature were less than fruitful. :p ( Read more... )
